Ingredients
  

For the Gratin

  • 2 pounds sweet potatoes peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Layer the sliced sweet potatoes in a baking dish, followed by the fresh cranberries.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, shredded Gruyère cheese, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the cream mixture over the sweet potatoes and cranberries.
  • Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for a crunchy texture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.

Notes

You can add more spices or herbs to enhance the flavor according to your taste.
