Instructions
Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until softened.
Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, half of the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and thyme or parsley. Mix well.
Stir in the cooked mushrooms and garlic. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
Notes
Serve warm with tortilla chips, bread, or vegetables.
