Ingredients
  

For the Cake

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 box strawberry cake mix
  • ¾ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup diced fresh strawberries

For the Topping

  • ½ cup strawberry jam
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon strawberry gelatin powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, cake mix, vegetable oil, and diced strawberries. Mix until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into a baking pan and bake for the time specified on the cake mix box.
  • While the cake cools, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  • Once the cake is cool, spread the strawberry jam on top and then add the whipped cream topping.
  • Sprinkle the strawberry gelatin powder on top for added flavor.

Notes

You can add more diced strawberries on top for decoration if desired.
