Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Penne Pasta Cook until al dente

For the Protein

  • 1 pound Chicken or Shrimp Substitute with mushrooms, zucchini, or tofu for vegetarian option

For the Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons Cajun Seasoning Adjust based on heat preference
  • 1 cup Cream Use plant-based cream for vegan option
  • ½ cup Cheese (optional) Fresh Parmesan, Monterey Jack, or cheddar work well

For the Veggies

  • 1 cup Bell Peppers Any variety
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes or Jalapeños Adjust based on heat preference

Instructions
 

  • Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  • In a skillet, cook the chicken or shrimp until fully cooked. Add bell peppers and sauté until tender.
  • Stir in the Cajun seasoning, cream, and cheese, cooking until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
  • Combine the pasta with the sauce and protein mixture. Adjust seasoning with red pepper flakes or jalapeños as desired.
