For the Pasta

ground beef or turkey

salsa

diced tomatoes with green chilies

taco seasoning

uncooked pasta
elbow macaroni or small shells

shredded cheddar cheese

beef broth or water

black beans

Instructions
Brown the ground beef or turkey in a skillet. Drain excess fat.
Add the browned meat, salsa, diced tomatoes, taco seasoning, pasta, and broth or water to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until pasta is tender.
Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Serve warm.
Notes
You can add chopped onions, bell peppers, black beans, or corn for extra flavor and nutrition.
