Ingredients
  

Beef

  • 2-3 lbs beef chuck roast

Broth

  • 4 cups beef broth

Seasoning

  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Additional Seasonings

  • Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste

Noodles

  • 12 oz egg noodles

Garnishes

  • fresh parsley optional
  • grated Parmesan cheese optional

Instructions
 

  • Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
  • Add beef broth, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings. Stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until beef is tender.
  • Remove the beef, shred it, and return it to the slow cooker.
  • Add egg noodles to the slow cooker and cook on high for 30 minutes.
  • Serve hot, garnished with parsley and Parmesan if desired.

Notes

You can adjust the seasonings according to your preference. This dish pairs well with a side salad.
