Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp

  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 4 tablespoon unsalted butter, divided
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
  • 2 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, plus more for garnish

For the Garlic Bread

  • 4 slices thick slices of French or Italian bread
  • garlic butter (made by mixing softened butter with minced garlic and parsley)

Instructions
 

  • In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp, wine, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the garlic bread by spreading the garlic butter on the slices of bread and toasting them in the oven.
  • Serve the shrimp in bowls, garnished with parsley, alongside the garlic bread.

Notes

You can substitute the dry white wine with chicken broth if preferred.
