For the Base

crunchy peanut butter

light brown sugar, packed

unsalted butter, softened

egg, room temperature

vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients

For the Topping

grape jelly or jam, or any other flavor

salted peanuts, coarsely chopped
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a baking pan.
In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, brown sugar, butter, egg, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
Add flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until just combined.
Spread half of the batter in the prepared pan. Top with grape jelly and remaining batter.
Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
Store the bars in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
