Ingredients
  

For the French Toast

  • 8 slices thick-cut brioche bread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter for cooking

For the Cream Cheese Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chopped pecans toasted

For Serving

  • Maple syrup
  • Additional toasted pecans

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  • In another bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and chopped pecans until smooth.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture between two slices of brioche bread to form a sandwich.
  • Heat butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Dip the sandwiches in the egg mixture and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  • Serve warm with maple syrup and additional toasted pecans on top.

Notes

You can add more toppings like whipped cream or fresh fruit for extra flavor.
