Ingredients
  

Bars

  • 1 cup salted butter, softened (227g)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (200g)
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar (200g)
  • 2 ½ cups creamy peanut butter divided
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour scooped & leveled (282g)
  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Frosting

  • ½ cup salted butter, softened (114g)
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 4 Tablespoons cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and 2 cups of peanut butter until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  • Gradually add the flour, oats, baking soda, and salt, mixing until combined.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • For the frosting, beat together the softened butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Spread the frosting over the cooled bars and cut into squares.
