Ingredients
  

For the Sloppy Joe Mixture

  • 2 lbs ground beef browned
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • to taste Salt and pepper

For Serving

  • 6 pieces soft buns for serving

Instructions
 

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat.
  • Add the browned beef, onion, green bell pepper, tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, mustard, salt, and pepper to the crockpot.
  • Stir to combine all ingredients and cook on low for 4 hours.
  • Serve the mixture on soft buns.

Notes

You can adjust the seasoning to your taste and add different toppings if desired.
