  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 large egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened at room temperature)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened at room temperature)

For the Coating

  • festive sprinkles (optional, for decoration)
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • Add the egg and yellow cake mix, stirring until fully combined.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake for about 10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Let them cool, then dust with powdered sugar and add sprinkles if desired.

Notes

These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for several days. Enjoy them with a cup of hot cocoa!
