This recipe features meatballs cooked in marinara sauce and served in hoagie rolls with cheese.

Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs

  • 32 ounces frozen meatballs beef or turkey

For the Sauce

  • 24 ounces marinara sauce

For Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

For Serving

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter optional, for toasting
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley optional

Instructions
 

  • Place frozen meatballs in the crockpot.
  • Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs and add garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until heated through.
  • Serve meatballs in hoagie rolls, topped with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Optionally, toast the rolls with butter and sprinkle with parsley.

Notes

You can customize the recipe by adding your favorite seasonings or using different types of cheese.
