Ingredients
  

Chicken and Breading

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts, pounded to ½ inch thickness
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese freshly grated recommended
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs or gluten-free breadcrumbs for gluten-free version
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour or gluten-free flour for gluten-free version
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Garlic Sauce

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley, chopped optional

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the chicken by pounding it to ½ inch thickness. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of Parmesan and panko.
  • Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with the Parmesan and panko mixture.
  • Heat butter and olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the chicken until golden brown on both sides and cooked through.
  • In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Then add chicken broth, heavy cream, and lemon juice. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Serve the chicken topped with the garlic sauce and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

You can use gluten-free breadcrumbs and flour for a gluten-free version of this recipe.
