Ingredients
  

For Air Fryer Cod

  • 2 fillets Cod Fillets Choose 1-inch thick fillets, thawed if frozen.
  • 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Avocado Oil For brushing the cod fillets.
  • to taste Salt Adjust to taste for seasoning.
  • to taste Pepper Adds a little kick.
  • to taste Seasoning Use Old Bay, Cajun, or Lemon Pepper seasoning.

For the Dipping Sauce (optional)

  • ½ cup Mayonnaise Forms the base of the tartar sauce.
  • 2 tablespoon Pickles or Sweet Pickle Relish Adds a tangy flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice For a fresh zing.
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon or Yellow Mustard Gives the sauce a slight tang.
  • 1 clove Garlic For an extra layer of flavor.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Brush the cod fillets with olive oil, then season with salt, pepper, and your choice of seasoning.
  • Place the fillets in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.
  • For the dipping sauce, mix mayonnaise, pickles, lemon juice, mustard, and minced garlic in a bowl.
  • Serve the cod with the dipping sauce on the side.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the seasonings to your taste. You can also serve the cod with a side of vegetables or a salad.
