For the Sandwich

bread

ripe
avocado
1
cup
shredded mozzarella cheese
1
cup
shredded cheddar cheese
2
tablespoons
butter, softened
1
tablespoon
mayonnaise
½
teaspoon
garlic powder
½
teaspoon
onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional Garnish

fresh basil leaves

Instructions
Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
In a bowl, mash the avocado and mix in mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Spread the avocado mixture on unbuttered sides of two slices of bread.
Top with mozzarella and cheddar cheese, then place the other two slices of bread on top, buttered side out.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Remove from heat, slice, and serve with fresh basil if desired.
Notes
You can add any other toppings or spices you like for extra flavor.
