Ingredients
  

For the Cake

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix plus ingredients listed on the box, usually eggs, oil, and water

For the Filling

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup melted butter

For the Frosting

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven and prepare the baking pan as per the box instructions for the cake mix.
  • Mix the cake ingredients and pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake as directed.
  • While the cake is baking, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter to create the filling.
  • Once the cake is baked, poke holes in it and pour the filling over the top.
  • For the frosting, beat together cream cheese, unsalted butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
  • Spread the frosting over the cooled cake and serve.

Notes

You can add nuts or more spices to the filling for extra flavor.
