For the Bars
2
cans
refrigerated cinnamon rolls
with icing packets reserved
½
cup
unsalted butter
melted
½
cup
packed light brown sugar
1
teaspoon
vanilla extract
For the Cream Cheese Frosting
2
ounces
cream cheese
softened
½
cup
powdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a baking pan, spread the melted butter evenly on the bottom.
Open the cinnamon roll cans and cut each roll into quarters. Place the pieces in the pan, spreading them evenly.
In a bowl, mix the brown sugar and vanilla extract, then pour it over the cinnamon roll pieces.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
While the bars are baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting by mixing softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
Once the bars are done, let them cool for a few minutes, then drizzle the icing packets over the top and spread the cream cheese frosting.
Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
You can add nuts or chocolate chips to the bars for extra flavor.
