boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs), thinly sliced
slice against the grain
For the Vegetables

Worcestershire sauce

olive oil
divided (plus more as needed)

unsalted butter

yellow onion, thinly sliced

bell peppers (green and red), thinly sliced

garlic, minced

For the Sandwich

provolone (or white American)

Instructions
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned and fully cooked.
Add the butter, onions, bell peppers, and garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the vegetables are soft.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Place cheese on top and cover until melted.
Serve the mixture in hoagie rolls. Add optional spreads if desired.
Notes
You can adjust the seasoning and toppings to your taste. Serve with your choice of sides.
