Ingredients
  

For the Cookie Dough

  • 1 cup brown butter cooled to room temperature
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine brown butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar. Mix until well combined.
  • Add in the eggs and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and kosher salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  • Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For softer cookies, do not overbake. You can also add chocolate chips for variation.
