Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Filling

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Garlic Cheese Sauce

  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 ¼ cups whole milk (warm)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste

For the Wrap Assembly

  • 4 large flour tortillas (burrito-size)
  • Butter or oil for toasting
  • Optional: baby spinach, sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions, crushed red pepper flakes, chopped fresh parsley

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken strips, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until chicken is fully cooked.
  • In a separate saucepan, melt butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in flour and cook for another minute. Gradually add warm milk, stirring continuously until thickened. Mix in mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Spread the garlic cheese sauce over the cooked chicken. Place tortillas on a skillet with butter or oil, and fill them with the chicken mixture. Add optional ingredients as desired. Roll the tortillas tightly and toast until golden brown.

Notes

You can customize your wraps with various toppings like spinach, mushrooms, or onions. Adjust the seasoning to your taste.
