Ingredients
  

For the Bread

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or any cheese of your choice
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg

For Garnish

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder. Mix well.
  • Add the cheese, milk, melted butter, and egg to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool for a few minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

This bread pairs well with soups or salads. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses.
