For the Filling

apple pie filling

For the Topping

Kraft caramels, unwrapped and cut in half

dry yellow cake mix

butter, cut into ¼ inch thick pats
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a baking dish, spread the apple pie filling evenly. Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over the filling.
Evenly distribute the cut caramels over the apple pie filling.
Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the top.
Place the pats of butter on top of the cake mix.
Bake for 45 minutes until the top is golden brown.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for a delightful treat.
