Ingredients
  

For the Salad

  • 12 oz bow-tie pasta or any short pasta like rotini
  • cup dried cranberries I like Ocean Spray Craisins
  • cup toasted chopped pecans for extra crunch and flavor
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, chopped
  • ¼ cup sliced green onions
  • ½ cup diced celery about 2 stalks

For the Dressing

  • 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar optional, to balance flavors
  • cup mayonnaise I prefer Hellmann’s
  • cup poppy seed dressing Briannas is a good brand

Instructions
 

  • Cook the bow-tie pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside to cool.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, dried cranberries, chopped pecans, turkey, green onions, and celery.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the apple cider vinegar, sugar, mayonnaise, and poppy seed dressing.
  • Pour the dressing over the pasta salad and mix until well combined. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

This salad can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator. The flavors will meld beautifully.
