For the Pasta and Cheese Sauce

short pasta
such as macaroni, shells, or similar

boursin cheese

grated white cheddar cheese
packed

heavy cream

milk

all-purpose flour
For the Topping
1

plain breadcrumbs

tablespoon
unsalted butter
Instructions
Cook the short pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the heavy cream and milk until smooth.
Add the boursin cheese, white cheddar, and salt to the pot. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce is creamy.
Combine the cooked pasta with the cheese sauce. Transfer to a baking dish.
In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle over the pasta.
Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
Notes
You can use any short pasta you prefer. Add cooked vegetables or proteins for variety.
